NeuCyte is an early-stage biotechnology company solely focused on neurological diseases. NeuCyte has worked with KIF1A.ORG to generate neuronal co-cultures generated from patient-derived iPSCs. By assessing morphology, axonal tranport, and electrophysiological properties in neurons with KIF1A mutations, NeuCyte has created a drug screening platform to test prospective therapeutics.
